Our own Jonathan Marsh, Director of Mashup Technologies for WSO2 gives an interview with InformationWeek's Fritz Nelson at the recent Mashup Camp Silicon Valley 2008 held Mountain View.
WSO2 is the first open source vendor to release an open source Mashup server.
The interview goes over the advantages of open source specifically for the mashup space, the technical advantages that the WSO2 Mashup server brings to the SOA platform - a lightweight scriptable engine that allows you to quickly aggregate content using very simple and powerful javascript.
Just FYI - we have an environment available for hosting and downloading community created Mashup's on our Mooshup site.
