first iPhone App acquired

Turns out that if you're a college student and have some spare time, developing a cool and useful iPhone app just might be the ticket to no more student loans.

Between the iPhone and the (hopefully!) soon to be relased Android platform, I think development in these 2 areas will make a lot of happy developers out there - monetarily speaking :-)

Develop a useful app, post it on the App Store, and if it's a hit, instant recognition and likely a sell-out to a larger corporation which "needs" your app. It's a win-win. The companies out there just sit back and watch for the popular app's then swoop in and take them over. Developer gets his $, and everyone goes home happy.
